Will has been a coach at Sideburn Run for the past 4 years and has been the Head Coach for the past 3. He grew up in the NVSL, swimming for the Lakevale Estates Dolphins, as well as swimming for York Swim Club, where he currently coaches during the winter season. He has recently graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Theatre. From there, he is looking toward getting his Master's in Counseling Psychology but is taking a gap year in the meantime. He is looking forward to another great summer with the Sharks!
Amelia has grown up swimming in the NVSL for the Sideburn Run Sharks swim team, starting at age 4. She has been an assistant coach for the Sharks since 2023 and has been giving private swim lessons for the past 5 years. She is currently a rising Senior Health Sciences major, Chronic Illness minor at James Madison University and will be graduating in spring 2027. Amelia brings great leadership and experience to our coaching team. She is excited to continue coaching the team she has grown up with!
Kylie is a rising junior at Robinson High School and she has been swimming competitively since age 7. During her free time, she likes to run, bake desserts, and hang out with friends. She is very passionate about swimming and is looking forward to teaching kids how to swim while making the environment enjoyable for all.
Hi my name is Mathilda, and I am currently a rising junior at Paul VI High School. I’ve been swimming since third grade and have been a part of Sideburn for three years. I love to hang out with friends and collaborate with others. I’m looking forward to being a junior coach this year!
Evan is a rising sophomore at Robinson High School. This is his sixth year on the Sharks Swim Team. He's also on the Dive Team. Evan was born in Northern Virginia but, as part of an Air Force family, he has also lived in Rhode island, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Arizona, and North Dakota. In his free time, Evan enjoys ornithology, photography, film making, and acting, and he is looking forward to being a junior coach on the 2026 Sharks Swim Team!
