Dive Practices
2025 Practice Schedule
Practices are scheduled according to age group.
Evening practices:
Monday - Friday from May 27 through June 19

| Ages 13-18 | 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm |
| Ages 8 & under | 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm |
Morning practices:
Monday - Friday from June 22 through July 21

For the evening practices before school lets out, please contact the coaches and team rep if you have any conflicts. We realize that there may be scheduling difficulties during this time of year. We will be as accommodating as possible to ensure each diver has practice time on the boards.
Attendance
Each diver should attend practice daily in order to improve their diving skills. It is each diver's responsibility to notify the Head Coach if a practice will be missed for any reason. Parent/guardian assistance is greatly appreciated in keeping the dive staff informed about your diver’s attendance, this helps for planning and assessing skill development.
Communication
Communication is integral to a smooth, fun-filled season without anxiety that often accompanies youth sports in the Northern Virginia area. The Dive Representative will send bi-weekly communications to let you know what is happening, where you and/or your child needs to be, when you and/or your child needs to be there, and how you can help with the many tasks that need to be done throughout the season. All he asks is that you read these communications and help out whenever you can. Many hands make a lighter load for all. Since communication is a two-way process, please feel free to send your comments, suggestions, issues or complaints to [email protected].
Family Folders
Each family will have a folder in the boxes stored in the pool closet. During practice, the boxes are placed on a table. Please check your folder weekly for meet ribbons. Coaches and the Team Rep also have a folder for receiving messages but prefer to receive emails or texts.
Inclement Weather
Divers should plan to be at practice on time no matter what the current or predicted weather conditions. If the pool is open, practice will be held. If there is thunder or lightning, the pool will close and reopen according to SRRA guidelines. An email will be sent whenever possible to alert team members of canceled or postponed practices.
