Hi Swim Families-

We are so excited to start practices Tuesday, May 31st. The practice schedule is listed here. (Lil Sharks begins June 13th) We are very excited to welcome our new Head Coach Carly, and our new Assistant Coach Will to our team, and of course we are excited to have our great group of Junior Coaches. You can read about all of them here. For the first two weeks of practice we will have three dedicated lanes and sharing the pool with general membership. We are requesting swimmers to attend their age appropriate practice. Any requests to attend other practices will be reviewed after a few days in order to allow our coaches to get to know your swimmer and ensure they can safely participate in another practice. Thank you for understanding this request.

During the first practice, the reps invite all parents to attend a short welcome meeting in the back grass area. We would like to introduce ourselves and go over a few important announcements to help the season run smoothly.

For those who ordered spirit wear, I will have this at practices and do my best to get this to you quickly. The silicone swim caps have been ordered and hopefully be here soon. We also ordered new latex caps for our new families and hopefully those will be here soon too. Team swim suits are available anytime at Suit Up. Please plan to get your swimmer a suit. While we do not require a team suit, we are asking our swimmers wear tight fitting suits and that boys wear jammers or briefs. We do not want swimmers wearing board shorts for safety reasons (and it's difficult to swim in those!).

Don't forget time trials is coming quickly on June 11. The meet is open and you may sign your swimmer up and find a volunteer spot. The meet can be found here. We encourage you to have your swimmer try all four strokes if they can legally swim. Don't just select free and back if they can try the other strokes. The more data we have, the better!

DIVE INFO- The Dive rep has asked us to encourage anyone wanting to try dive to come this week to check it out. We have a fabulous new coach who you can read about here. Dive practice times can be found here.
