Shark Shiver...

Next Wed at 6:30PM is the Divisional Relay Carnival at Sideburn Run, and we wanted to at least put it on your radar.

Schedule, 26 Jun:

• 3:00 – Pool closes so we can begin set-up
• 5:15 – Shark swimmers' show time
• 5:28-5:43 – Sharks warm-up in Lanes 4-6 (Shark Marshal supervises)
• 5:45 – Officials Briefing (Referee and S&T Judges)
• 6:00 – Timers Briefing, table workers in place at tables
• 6:25 – All officials and timers in place on deck
• 6:30 – Meet starts

Volunteers: Since we’ll have 6 teams at this meet, we won’t have to fill out our normal number of volunteer positions. These volunteer positions are now available in SwimTopia so those interested can sign up.

• The heaviest lifts will probably be set-up (no pun intended) and our Shark Shack (which will be extremely busy!).

Parking:

• Even though Sideburn Run has 128 parking spaces in the lot, we will max it out, which will push vehicles into adjoining subdivisions to find parking. If you can walk to the Relay Carnival, we ask that you do so. If not, carpooling would also be helpful!
• Each pool will have parking passes allotted to them. Elaine and I will pass those out as we get closer to the carnival.

Swimmers:

• You can go in and declare your swimmer’s availability for the Relay Carnival just like an A Meet
• The Coaches will build our relay teams from those available swimmers, and we’ll push out meet sheets NLT Monday
