It’s time to start thinking about Divisionals on Sat, 20 Jul. For those new to swim, Divisionals will take place at Fox Mill Woods.  All 6 teams will send their fastest swimmers to compete. There are 2 heats for each event and each lane is, ideally, filled with one swimmer from each of the division's 6 teams. This means we need to provide 2 swimmers for each event. Declarations are now open.

Here’s how it works. The top 2 Sharks in a stroke/age cohort get first choice in what they’d prefer to swim. Sometimes there are swimmers who are top 2 in more than 2 strokes; however, they can only elect 2 swims. If for whatever reason one or both of the 2 fastest swimmers in each stroke aren’t available, then we go down the ladder until we get 2 swimmers. So, just because your swimmer isn’t top 2 in a stroke, please do NOT assume they can’t secure a spot in Divisionals. If your swimmer is available, please declare them as such, and we'll do the math.

When declaring, it will prompt you to declare your swimmer as available or not. It also allows you leave a note. In the note, you should rank your swimmer's stroke preferences in the order he/she would like to swim. See example attached.

We need your declarations/swimmer preferences no later than 13 July at 6PM.
