Team Suits and Officials Apparel
Team Suits
Team suits this year will be supplied by Sport Fair.
Suit may be purchased online, at Sport Fair, or on suit fitting day at the pool on Wed, May 28.
All sharks are encouraged to wear a team suit and a team cap. Long hair must be pulled back in a ponytail holder and wear a cap to keep hair out of the way. One standard team cap will be issued to each swimmer. NVSL rules require swimmers to wear TEAM caps at all meets, so do not lose your team cap!
Parents are encouraged to wear team apparel or red shirts for meets.
Occasionally, coaches will come up with a theme for a meet. They will let you know in advance to have time to prepare. Team members are encouraged to participate in the theme and responsible for preparing their own costume/makeup/props. Having a theme can make meets more fun and builds team spirit, especially when everyone is involved. An athlete does not have to be competing in a meet to attend, participate in the theme and cheer.
Officials Apparel
All officials (including timers, judges, and table workers) should wear white shirts and dark blue pants/shorts. This is an NVSL rule for all deck officials and helps in distinguishing those persons who should and should not be on deck during a meet. Officials should not wear team apparel.
